Carbonate Geology

Substantial experience in global Tertiary, South Atlantic Margin Brazilian pre-salt (Cretaceous) and Upper Palaeozoic carbonates (Kazakhstan, Barents and SE Asia). Principal focus on sedimentological and microfacies analysis, reservoir correlation and the development of reservoir models and analogues for several large carbonate fields from a variety of geological settings. Additional expertise in biostratigraphy of shallow marine carbonate sequences using larger foraminifera and associated fossil groups such as calcareous algae in the Paleozoic and Cenozoic.
